InfoSlips completes Greenhouse Gas Protocol Audit
May 2011
"Although not an official offset, this actually makes InfoSlips' impact carbon positive."
Together with SustainableIT, InfoSlips has completed a comprehensive CO2 equivalency audit.
According to the report, InfoSlips produced 82 tonnes of CO2e emissions in 2010.
However, an extract from the report elaborates:
The InfoSlips business produces electronic forms that prevent the requirement of printed
output. The averted emissions in this respect amount to approximately 93.8 tonnes
of CO2e emissions.
Alan Burger, CEO of InfoSlips, said that InfoSlips is proud to be helping their customers to reduce their carbon footprints by such a significant amount.
"Although this not an official offset, if you take into account the C02 saving we have passed on to our customers, it actually makes InfoSlips' impact carbon positive".
